Joseph Price is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience working across a variety of behavioral health and social service settings. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Southern University and his Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University. Joseph’s professional background includes work in child protection services with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), behavioral health hospitals, and correctional environments, including a women’s prison. He has also facilitated dual diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) groups and provided therapy to individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Currently, Joseph serves as a counselor at Genesis Behavioral Health Services in Baton Rouge, where he provides individual and group therapy to both children and adults. His clinical approach is client-centered, evidence-based, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Joseph incorporates a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral strategies, solution-focused interventions, and trauma-informed care to support emotional wellness and personal growth.
